The south Devon reservoir that could be yours for £7,000 – up for auction this month

Former Reservoir

A former service reservoir in Loddiswell near Kingsbridge in south Devon is to be put up for auction with a guide price of £7,000 - £12,000. The 146 sq m former reservoir will appear, along with dozens of other properties and plots of land, in the next online Pugh auction on 19 June.

Edward Feather from Pugh said: “This is an unusual lot and it’s USP really is that it’s in such a cracking location.

“Loddiswell is a great community, set in beautiful countryside and close to the South Devon National Landscape, which is so famous for its rugged coastal stretches, quaint villages, and popular hiking routes”

He added: “While any potential new owner of the reservoir would of course need to secure the necessary planning consent in order to change the use of the site, it would certainly be a great opportunity to develop residential accommodation or indeed for a number of other possible uses.

“The land forms part of a larger agricultural field and is bounded by houses to the north and allotments to the west and of course there are great amenities such as schools and shops nearby.”

This month's Pugh auction, which includes the former service reservoir on the corner of Clarks Barn Road and Village Cross Road in Loddiswell, has new lots added daily and will be held online on 19th June.
