This month we saw 118 lots catalogued– from cottages and chapels to garages and former banks. As usual, the auction catalogue was filled with an impressive array of property and land types.
Let’s take a look at some of the lots from February that some lucky bidders were able to get a hold of! To see the full list of results click here.
A former care home in Bradford.
This former local authority care home, situated on a plot of 1.2 acres, which presents a great redevelopment opportunity, was offered at a guide price of £325,000. Following a bidding frenzy with over 420, it sold for a staggering £1M!
Next up is Lot 2, comprising two freehold and roughly rectangular parcels of land.
With previous planning consent for the construction of 5 terraced dwellings, the plot is ideal for anyone looking for their next redevelopment opportunity. With a guide price of £10,000, it eventually sold for £99,000.
One of our more niche properties, Lot 88 takes the form of a former library premises with tons of local heritage value.
Located in Crossgates town centre, the property holds a prominent position in a designated retail centre and is sold with vacant possession.
Proving popular on the day, the property received over 190 bids and eventually sol for £482,000.
On the back of our February auction success, we are now looking forward to our March auction where we already have over 30 lots listed.
Amongst these are A grade II* listed former gaol building and grade II listed stocks in Halifax and a detached former office building with outhouses in Wrexham.
We’ve also recently listed this semi-detached house in Romiley, which has huge potential for investors and those looking to put their own stamp on their next home.
While we already have an exciting selection of lots on offer for our March auction, there is still time to include your property alongside these. The earlier you instruct us, the sooner we can start marketing for your property and generating interest to ensure you get the best possible price.
