Holyhead former Superdrug store up for auction

The former Superdrug store on Holyhead’s Market Street, which closed in March, has been put up for auction with a guide price of £75,000.

The Holyhead store will feature among more than 130 lots at Pugh’s next North West property auction at the AJ Bell Stadium in Manchester on 9 April.

The 3,000 two‐storey property is situated in the busy town centre of Holyhead and is surrounded by a range of local and national traders, with high levels of footfall.

Edward Feather,  Associate Director of Pugh auction house, said: “This is an excellent high street property in a convenient location at the centre of a busy port town.

“Being in such a high footfall area and having easy access to the A55 expressway, the property represents a good business opportunity.

He added: “The high street is an important part of Holyhead and we welcome the opportunity to help the area by finding a new owner for this property.”
