How do I place a bid?

Only bidders that have registered for the auction will receive a paddle, enabling them to place a bid. This is to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. When your lot is open for bidding (this will be clearly announced by the auctioneer and displayed on screen), you need to make your interest known by signalling to the auctioneer, such as by raising your hand or your paddle. It is important that you can see the auctioneer and even more important that he can clearly see you. You will be given an opportunity to bid and to make improved bids where appropriate.
